Capacity Building

To ensure product safety & quality and operational excellence, the well-being of employees is at the heart of our operations. To achieve and maintain excellence, we recognize that capacity building, particularly through developing and strengthening the skills, abilities, resources, and processes that individuals, organizations, or communities need.

The objectives of capacity building are as follows –

  • Strengthen food safety practices across all stages of shrimp processing, from the value chain of seafood processing.
  • Enhance employee awareness and compliance with local and international health and safety regulations.
  • Reduce food contamination risks and minimize workplace accidents through proactive education and preventive measures.
  • Build a culture of continuous learning, personal accountability, and operational responsibility among all staff members.

Skill Development Training for Peeling Workers

A skill development training was arranged by ACI Agrolink Ltd to empower the local workforce by training local women as skilled peeling workers in the shrimp processing sector. The training program seeks to improve the technical skills, hygiene practices, and job readiness of participants, many of whom come from coastal and underprivileged communities. The initiative is expected to directly contribute to women’s empowerment and the development of the region’s seafood processing industry while enhancing livelihoods for local families. This training will focus on hygiene practices, speed and quality of peeling, safety standards, and workplace discipline — all aligned with international best practices and market demands.

 

Annual Stakeholder Meeting

The Annual Stakeholders Meeting at ACI Agrolink Factory was successfully held on 22nd April 2025, bringing together a diverse group of stakeholders, including factory workers, employees, suppliers, community members, regulatory representatives. The meeting aimed to review the factory’s annual performance, address key challenges, ensure regulatory alignment, and strengthen collaboration across all stakeholder group

We invest in advanced research, product development, and technology adaptation to ensure quality, efficiency, and sustainability across every stage of the farming practice to production process.
